The Wicked Witch of the West was a Marketing Genius.
Sure, she had public relations problems, but Dorothy's infamous enemy from Oz understood the power of geographics when it comes to marketing. After all, she used her location in her name. Attend AMA's July marketing program, and you, too, can learn how geographics can become a powerful part of your marketing program. As a specialist in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Rob Bennett will lead us down the road to understanding this state-of-the-art technology that helps companies target new customers and plan business growth geographically in high demand areas. You'll not only learn how GIS can give you a quick market snapshot and even a competitor analysis, but how it enables you to target customers down to a single block or address.
Reserve your seat for "Think Geographically: Understanding the Connection between People, Places and your Marketing Dollars," presented by Rob Bennett, principal of Layered Consulting.

July marks the beginning of a new year for the Willamette Valley chapter of the American Marketing Association. At our board orientation retreat in June, our team shared goals for the 2010/2011 year. As I listened to each board member share ideas, my excitement for the coming year grew.
|
|
We have an amazing team of volunteers who dedicate their time and hearts to this organization. It is their support and creativity that will make our chapter of the AMA the premiere marketing organization in the Willamette Valley. If you are a member and are interested in helping us develop and grow our chapter, contact Jana Waterman at janawaterman@comcast.net.
