Sometimes, the solution is as simple as having lunch. And at WVAMA's March Monthly Marketing Program, Mark Crossler will show you how. Based on principles from the acclaimed book, Made to Stick, as well as his more than 15 years honing his branding strategies for some of the Northwest's leading brands, Mark will teach, in a fun and interactive way, how message and brand simplicity combined with excellent customer service can make your marketing memorable and help your brand go viral. Social Media seems to be at the top of every marketers mind. It has become an integral part of every campaign, no matter how large or small. It is difficult to measure the success of social media campaigns, we've almost got to trust that it is building brand recognition and providing that magical multiple time that your company's name, service or product is put before your target audience. More sophisticated methods of measuring ROI are slowly developing.

I live on my laptop and am a bit less of a Luddite than some of my contemporaries, but I still find it challenging to keep up with the break-neck pace of evolution of this relatively new medium. In a few short years it has become the hottest type of marketing around, and in another few short year's it is bound to be completely transformed from what we are all scrambling to learn and keep up with today. Many companies have new marketing staff positions just to focus on managing their social media advertising.

We've just launched our sure-to-be-popular JavaTalk Series on Social Media and the topic for both our March and April programs will be on aspects of social media. Each presenter has a bit of a different focus and another piece of the puzzle. This topic seems to endlessly pack the house, indicating that you all are ever thirsty for yet more information. Your chapter leaders are highly tuned to your insatiable appetite and will keep the content coming.
